BIO
I have been in the industry for 25 years. I started as a runner for the 1st company. Curiousity getting the better of me, started asking questions, submitting this document does what? Why did this get rejected? I worked my way from running to running/accounting, eventually earning my own desk. There were some good times, not so good times, mistakes were made and I heard about it, and other days, I was a Super Hero. Ha ha! I worked for a total of 3 service companies, each company taught me a valuable lesson, all of which I still apply today. Communicate directly, always confirm if the client knows (yes, even if you confirmed a previous time, that is the one time something will go awry). Be honest, even if that means delivering bad news or admitting to a mistake. Always give 100% to the task at hand. Last but not least, infuse a little of your personality and have a little empathy. I have amazing relationships with a handful of clients because of this. :-)
